Search a rule number or topic in circuit-court local rules and statewide UTCR. County filters select sources; they do not determine the court, venue or applicable law.
36 Oregon counties · 27 local rulebooks · 24 UTCR chapter PDFsMachine-extracted or machine-OCR source text, not independently validated legal requirements. Later amendments, case orders, exceptions, signatures, service, fees and deadlines require original-source review. Reserved and repealed chapters do not create requirements.
Reserved and repealed-only chapters are retained as such. Amendment and supplemental orders are searched separately because their extracted text may include deleted or superseded provisions. Some scans have machine OCR, visibly labeled and unreviewed. Remaining scans have original-source links only. Verify all text and amendment markings in the PDF.

12.015 Mediation Orientation
In cases in which there are issues concerning child custody, visitation or parenting
time, Mediation Orientation consists of viewing a mediation orientation video or
receiving the same information at one meeting with a mediator.
Upon a showing of good cause or the filing of a stipulated written waiver from both
parties, the court may waive the requirement of Mediation Orientation or a portion
thereof. The waiver granted may apply to either one party or to both.
The refusal by or failure of a party to attend mediation orientation as required by
these rules or by the court in a timely manner is a factor the court may consider in
decisions involving custody or parenting time.
