Oregon Legal Resource Navigator

Important legal-information notice

Temporary session. Your work is not saved.

Your case information, chats, uploaded forms, answers and document drafts are held in this open page’s memory. The site does not save this private work for a later visit, and it cannot restore it after it clears.

Download your documents or copy any work you need before the timer expires or you end the session. Refreshing, leaving or closing the page also clears your work. A download stays on your device; it does not create a saved session here.

Watch the session counter in the header.

This website provides general legal information, education, organization tools and self-help assistance for Oregon. It does not provide professional legal advice.

This website is not a law firm, does not represent you, and does not create an attorney-client or confidential relationship. Jellyfish AI can make mistakes and cannot predict outcomes, appear in court or replace professional services.

Forms, laws, deadlines, court rules and agency procedures can change. Requirements may depend on your Oregon county, court and case. Confirm the current form version, filing fee, service rules, citations and deadlines with the issuing court or agency.

Generated documents are editable drafts. They are not filed papers or guarantees of acceptance. Before filing, serving, signing or relying on a document, check its facts and requirements and, whenever possible, have an Oregon-licensed attorney or qualified legal-aid provider review it.

Urgent matters: Court and filing deadlines can be very short. Contact a lawyer, legal-aid organization, court self-help center or the appropriate agency promptly. Call 911 for immediate danger.

Display preferences may remain in your browser. Private work and the timer stay in memory. Automatic AI assistance may process submitted text through Google, which has its own data policies. Explicit public forum submissions are retained for moderation. Downloaded copies remain on your device.

Covers all 36 counties in the State of Oregon. Statewide resources and local court destinations, with county-specific information expanding. View county coverage.

About this project

Built by Urban Jellyfish

This legal aide website is brought to you by Urban Jellyfish LLC and powered by the Urban Jellyfish Engine. It was created to help people better understand legal processes, organize information, find useful resources, and move through confusing systems with clearer next steps.

Company: Urban Jellyfish LLC

Important: This website provides legal information, organization tools, and resource guidance. It is not a law firm, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be treated as professional legal advice. Users should be careful not to share private, sensitive, or identifying information unless they understand the risks.
Before you post

Anonymous does not mean impossible to identify.

This is a browser-local forum prototype. Posts and reports are not sent to other people. It does not ask for accounts, names, emails, or IP addresses in post records. But your own story can identify you if it contains exact dates, rare details, private names, case identifiers, or personal contact information.

🧹
Generalize details.
Use “earlier this year” instead of exact dates. Leave out rare details that could identify someone.
🚫
Do not post private identifiers.
No private phone numbers, private emails, IP addresses, home addresses, names of minors, sealed identifiers, or medical identifiers. Do not share real names, case or inmate numbers, contact details, exact dates, children’s identities, confidential records or details that could identify anyone. Hashtags do not make private details safe.
🛟
Keep it safe.
Describe what happened without bullying, humiliating, threatening, fundraising, or pressuring anyone for private details.
⚖️
Legal-risk topics need context.
Phrases about court dates, filings, service, evidence, or deadlines trigger a warning, not an automatic block, unless they include threats or abuse.
⚖
Common Ground Anonymous legal experiences, shared safely
Public posting is an exception to temporary sessions.

Use an automatically generated anonymous name. Remove names, case numbers, contact details, exact dates and private records. Public posts can be copied and cannot be cleared by End Session.

Open the public, moderated forum

This page below is a temporary local demonstration; it does not publish to other people.

Privacy first. Practical safeguards.

A safer, practical place to share legal-system experiences.

Temporary per-thread aliases, personal-data scrubbing, duplicate discussion detection, supportive reply prompts, link quarantine, moderator tools, and context-sensitive legal-risk warnings, and review-based voting. This local demonstration clears when you refresh or leave. Public posting is a separate, explicit action. The goal is useful safety, not bubble-wrap bureaucracy.

Per-thread anonymous aliases Privacy preview Discussion clustering Never share identifying details Review-based voting
Share carefully: This is a browser-local experience forum prototype; posts are not published to other people. The editor removes common personal data, but it cannot understand every real-world detail that could identify someone. Keep the facts useful and the identifiers sparse.
🕶️
Discussion clustering: Similar experiences are grouped by topic, county, city, and key terms. This helps people find existing conversations before creating duplicate threads.
Resource library: Public, verified resource cards reduce the need for random external links in posts. In production, these would be maintained by moderators and linked internally.
Prototype dashboard: These tools show how moderators would approve, redact, lock, merge, or review content. Real moderation should track content decisions, not visitor identities.

1. Anonymous by default

No real-name accounts. Aliases are temporary and thread-specific.

2. Describe conduct, not human worth

Criticize events, institutions, and process failures without humiliation, insults, slurs, dogpiling, or victim-blaming.

3. Keep identifying details out

Use only the generated anonymous alias. Do not include names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, case or inmate numbers, birth dates, medical identifiers, children’s identities, sealed information or confidential records. Generalize rare details and exact dates. A hashtag cannot make identifying details safe.

4. No money requests

No fundraising, payment handles, paid referrals, “DM me for help,” or advertising disguised as support.

5. Discuss legal processes without identifiers

General questions about deadlines, filing, evidence or service may receive reminders to check official instructions. Case numbers and contact details are blocked, even with hashtags. Share general experiences without identifying anyone.

6. Join existing threads when possible

Similar-post detection suggests existing discussions. Create a separate post only when the event, process, or issue is meaningfully different.

7. Links stay quarantined

Non-HTTPS, shortened, direct-IP, and suspicious links are blocked. Other links remain non-clickable until server-side reputation checks approve them.

8. Voting sends content to review

Thumbs up and thumbs down help surface useful content. A post with heavy downvotes is hidden and held for moderator review, not permanently erased by crowd vote alone.

9. Text only at launch

No screenshots, PDFs, or file uploads until metadata stripping, malware scanning, and manual review exist.

Privacy reminder: Your private workspace is temporary. Only an explicit public forum submission is retained for moderation. Use the generated alias and remove identifying details. Public posts can be copied; End Session cannot remove those copies. Automated checks and moderation cannot guarantee anonymity.
Temporary demonstrationThese discussions and drafts stay only in this page’s memory. Refreshing, leaving or ending the session clears them.
Public forum exceptionOnly explicitly submitted public posts are retained for moderation. Use the generated anonymous alias. Never include real names or identifying details.
Infrastructure warningThe app cannot stop a host, CDN, proxy, analytics tool, or error logger from storing IPs unless the deployment is configured correctly.
Rate limitingUse short-lived edge limits and CAPTCHA triggers without permanent visitor histories.
Content scrubbingRun redaction in the browser and again on the server. Browser checks are helpful, but bypassable.
No upload surfaceText-only launch avoids hidden metadata, malware, screenshots, faces, and document identifiers.
