1. Is this for me?
Preschool Promise generally serves children ages 3 and 4 under current DELC eligibility rules; other programs and sites have different age/income criteria. Ask the specialist about all applicable pathways.

2. What should I prepare?
Some documents may be conditional. Ask about alternatives. Checkmarks are temporary and are not saved or sent.
3. Where and how do I submit?
Use the published provider instructions and contact the preschool enrollment team for the service, enrollment or reservation steps below. Confirm the location, eligibility and current availability.
- Review the age/eligibility section and provider directory, including each provider schedule and transportation information.
- Apply through the coordinated-enrollment portal or follow the paper application return instructions.
- If you are slightly over the stated income criterion, ask the enrollment team whether the housing-cost adjustment applies and which records it needs.
- Monitor the application and contact providers/enrollment staff about selection and waiting lists. If not enrolled last year, follow the instruction to reapply.
Timing: Source says applications can be submitted throughout the year; a submitted application does not reserve a seat.
4. What will it cost?
Ask the enrollment team about program eligibility, any applicable costs and current openings. A referral or application does not promise a place.
5. What happens after I submit?
Ask the preschool enrollment team for confirmation and any next steps, waiting-list or reservation instructions. Keep the provider messages and ask when to check back.
6. What if something goes wrong?
If the service is unavailable or you are outside its eligibility rules, ask the preschool enrollment team about another provider, location or program. Confirm missing-document or correction steps directly.
